Montserrat adventures and activities at a glance

A Montserrat adventure hiking holiday on the unspoilt island could be just up your street.

You’ll need to be fit as the majority of hiking trails in Montserrat are moderately difficult, difficult, and even extreme. With a live volcano for company, a hiking adventure in Montserrat promises to be an exciting one

In Montserrat you can go rainforest hiking, trekking and birdwatching. Try diving, speardiving, snorkelling or turtle watching, as well as fishing, kayaking or yachting.

There are boat tours, bike rental places, a botanic garden to visit as well as a philatelic bureau, and the opportunity of viewing volcanic sites.

Visit the Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO), or take a round the island boat tour to see the devastation which was caused by the Soufriere Hills volcano eruption.
