A water-based Turks Caicos adventure is assured when you visit these Caribbean islands. They are not only renowned for beautiful sandy beaches, but also for their crystal clear waters, having the third largest barrier reef system in the world, and some of the best Scuba diving in the Caribbean.
Here is the HUGE list of active things to do in the Turks & Caicos Islands… Scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing, boating, fishing, golf, mountain biking.
Try barefoot water skiing, tubing, paddleboarding, wake surfing, windsurfing, parasailing, kiteboarding and wakeboarding. As well as sailboat charters, there is island hopping and eco tours, guided cave tours (Middle Caicos) and uninhabited out-island tours.
Go on eco adventure walks, birdwatching, eco kayaking safaris and mangroves kayaking. There’s also opportunities to swim with sting rays as well as going on a Grand Turk kayak adventure, conch snorkelling adventure (Grand Turk), and sting ray and snorkel trips.
In addition, you can go on big game fishing trips, whale watching trips (around Salt Cay February-March), and swimming with dolphins, as well as on a birdwatching tram tour (Grand Turk). Go horseback riding, take a Segway tour (Grand Turk) or a private luxury yacht cruise.
There are also glass bottom boat trips (coral reef viewing), Iguana tours, hiking trails, and plenty of diving sites (historic wrecks, wall dives, reefs, 7,000ft drop off). Semi-submarine tours are good for all ages, and there are also kids and teens programs (variety of water sports, eco adventures) as well as custom family educational adventures.
