Caribbean Family Adventure Parks
Where to find Caribbean family adventure parks for kids of all ages
Caribbean family adventure parks are more geared up for older kids, and some destinations are more geared up to family holidays than others. Older children and teenagers are also often able to enjoy vacation adventures and holiday activities suitable for adults. There are generally plenty of watersports available for all the family on many islands, but Caribbean destinations with dedicated adventure parks and/or theme parks suitable for very young children are few and far between. There are a few resorts, however, that offer all-inclusive Caribbean family holidays – with the majority of on-site activities included. If you are trying to decide the destination where to go specifically for Caribbean family adventures to suit your family, we hope this page will help you.
WHERE TO FIND CARIBBEAN FAMILY ADVENTURE PARKS
Jamaica adventure parks
In Montego Bay you’ll find a go-cart racing course, tennis courts, a kids’ playground with swings and slides and, of course, a range of water sports. In the Ocho Rios area there’s even a speedy downhill bobsled ride on tracks through the rainforest… if you dare.
Stay in the Negril area and the kids can have fun in a waterpark which has a bobsled water slide – ride the twists and turns in a single, double or triple tube. Older kids can also get a thrill plunging down a 40ft ride into a huge splash pool, or take on a 385ft slide which boasts a 3D electronic system. There’s an adventure park too with paintball adventures, laser combat, go-kart racing, kayaking adventures, inflatable rafts and rafting rides.
Dominica rainforest adventure parks
As well as river tubing, kayaking tours and jeep tours, there’s a great choice of thrilling adventures for older kids in Dominica such as aerial rope walks and ziplining courses for kids and adults. Go to the Caribbean Rainforest Activities section for more information on rainforest adventures.
Caribbean adventure parks in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, Yucátan Peninsula, Mexico

Caribbean family adventure parks in Curaçao
Kids of all ages can have fun on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao – there are adventure parks and fun centres with loads of rides and attractions. Even tiny tots can enjoy kiddie rides, and there are cool video games for older kids. The fun centre is indoors too, so no getting wet during the rainy season.
Adventure and amusement parks in the Bahamas
There’s a cool amusement park in Nassau – great for kiddies, and there’s a beach right there too. The waterpark has slides and pools. It does get crowded though as Nassau is a busy port of call for cruise ships so, if you’re not on a cruise yourself, choose to go to play later in the day. For more information on water parks go to the Water Parks & Experiences page in this section.
Cayman Islands adventures and activities
In the Cayman Islands there is a turtle farm, great for animal loving kids, and an opportunity to get REALLY up close and personal with stingrays, ride the waves at a skate and surf park, and explore the Caribbean depths on a submarine.
